About BDHC 

The Besancon Doubs Hockey Club (often abbreviated BDHC) is a French ice hockey club located in Besançon in the Doubs, moving to the fourth level called France Championship ice hockey D4 in the jersey of V.H.C. (Vesontio Hockey Club). The team is nicknamed the Eagles of Besancon. Since October 2010, a sledge hockey section (Para) is open.

 

History

Following the disappearance of Besançon Hockey Club in 2003, Besancon Skating Club inherited the section hockey on ice. Initially the team will be called the Eaglets, Besancon Skating In 2009 the club was renamed the Besancon Doubs Hockey Club and his nickname becomes the Remparts, a nod to the heritage of Vauban. In summer 2012 the club changes nickname by taking the Eaglets. At the end of the 2012-2013 season the club changed its nickname Eagles term in reference to the arms of the city.
