Girls Power 

Ice hockey is often perceived as a physical sport, and violent all-male or even practiced by loggers in the far north.

These ideas do not make it attractive sport for a female audience while hockey is a sport to develop many physical and mental qualities, conveying transcendence values, mutual support, teamwork, developing balance, reflexes, qualities that are not for boys!

Throughout the season and all over France, ice hockey clubs open their doors on one or more days to welcome girls and women wishing to discover this sport. These JPOs are intended for an exclusively female audience, in order to increase the number of licensed hockey players, whether in leisure or in competition. Since their inception in 2012, these events have been very successful, helping to promote the practice of women's hockey.
