This Wednesday afternoon, three Doubists, two girls and a boy, were honored in the 2018 Youth Commitment Award, which recognizes and honors the commitment, civic sense or dedication of youth. , between 15 and 25 years old. At the initiative of this action, the Department of Doubs, the Society of Members of the Legion of Honor of the Doubs and the Association of Mayors of Doubs.

This year, the organizers received a dozen files, from community leaders, rescue centers or municipalities who wanted to highlight one or more young people of their structure. The first prize, worth 500 euros, was given to Heidi-Marie Moyne, a young 20-year-old from Nice, who has been involved for many years with others. Among the actions she leads, that of regularly accompanying six disabled children in her commune. This summer, she worked at the city of Ornans to finance a humanitarian trip to Morocco.

The second prize went to Mégane Bongay (24), who lives in Vermondans. This young volunteer firefighter participated in the delivery of the mother of a small Raphael in an ambulance. Accidented last June, during a mission, she remains determined to continue her civic engagement. Finally, Killian Bruot received the third prize. This 21-year-old bisontin, a student at Besançon Sports School, is a much appreciated player in the ice hockey club of Besançon. He is also an active teammate with the Bison Fire Department. An environment he has been attending since the age of 14. Kilian has just won his professional firefighter competition.
